Long Beach, CA  (July 12, 2010) - Kenwood USA Corporation announced the launch of a  national radio campaign designed to promote the built-in HD Radio™ Technology performance and benefits of the Kenwood KDC-HD545U.

“The popularity of HD Radio Technology has grown tremendously, and coupled with legendary Kenwood audio technology, the performance of this product is stunning,” said Keith Lehmann, Senior Vice President of Kenwood’s Consumer Electronics Sector.  “This promotion will put the attributes of HD Radio Technology squarely on the minds of millions of consumers, and associating it with the brand awareness of Kenwood will surely create a call-to-action that will get consumers visiting authorized Kenwood retailers for a demonstration.”

The joint radio campaign, reaching the top 100 US media markets, will focus on the advantages of HD Radio Technology, including iTunes® Tagging and the additional HD2/HD3 digital channels.  The campaign will run from July to September.
