Cogent Audio

After eight years of continued growth since its inception in January 2005, Cogent Audio Labs has outgrown its second facility and, effective immediately, will be working out of its new, larger permanent location in nearby Mesa, Ariz. in order to better serve its clients.

The new address is:

Cogent Audio Labs
7235 E. Hampton Ave.; Suite 117
Mesa, AZ. 85209
Phone (480-892-1981) and email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) remain the same.

“With more than double the amount of space, plus added improvements to both our electronics and acoustics labs, the company can continue to grow and provide world-class data to our clients,” said Garry Springgay, owner of Cogent Audio Labs. “We can finally bring vehicles inside the lab for direct measurment of in-car data, and we now have a workshop that allows us to build custom test projects in-house. Having ownership of our own facility means we can better plan for the future and creates opportunities to increase the scope of available testing, allowing the company to grow into other frequently requested areas, such as RFI emissions testing and shock and vibration testing, among other possibilities.”

Springgay added that there will soon be an all new Cogent Audio Labs website that will better showcase Cogent’s capabilities and the new facility and equipment.

Springgay offers more than 25 years of competitive analysis experience and more than 35 years of in-depth audio knowledge to the 12Volt industry at large. With the use of modern industry-standard test equipment and decades of hands-on experience, Cogent offers competitive analysis, product development support, incoming batch testing, and training for retailers and manufacturers, sales, installation, and tech support staffs.
