Prestige Wheelhouse Grand Opening 2017 PASMAG 018

The state of Maryland showed support for one of its own. Prestige Wheelhouse, with Byron Mapp on the helm, strives in providing the automotive aftermarket community with the best in customer service and availability in product (tire, wheel, suspension). So it was no surprise that hundreds of enthusiasts, and their vehicles, were in attendance at the Prestige Wheelhouse Grand Opening, hosted by SoTrendy and Maryland Motor Club, at the Meade Senior High School in Junction, Maryland on April 2nd. Cars, DJ (The Kid), food trucks, dyno, vendors, car wash, giveaways and games and contests were on-site to provide the attendees with, not only a reunion of sorts (after the long winter), but excitement for what's to come in 2017 for Maryland and the surrounding states (DC, VA). The Loudest Exhaust and Low Car Limbo contests were crowd favorites!

Wekfest Los Angeles at Long Beach, California is an annual event since 2010. Import Face-Off 2010: Las Vegas, NV

This event had the largest turnout for the FWD class in Import Face Off (IFO) history, proving import drag racing is alive and well on the West coast. The FWD class, usually a top 8 qualifier only, had so many contestants (30+) that IFO officials had to double it into a top 16 field and add a secondary class for qualifiers 17 to 24! Unfortunately, the racing portion of the event rained out after the first round of eliminations. Payouts were split up evenly with all the racers left in the competition. Importfest 2011: Toronto, ON

Yes it’s true; Import Fest is back in full glory! As the longest running tuner show in North America, it is no surprise that this year’s event would shatter records both in terms of stats and quality of vehicles showcased. The Toronto Metro Convention Centre once again played host to the first of two city stops (the second being Montreal on October 1st) for what is tagged, as Canada’s Biggest and Baddest Car Show and we couldn’t agree more. A record number of over 15,000 people attended the one-day iFest event with roughly another 35,000 passing through the downtown Toronto…

Wekfest San Francisco 2012

If you are into cars and you don’t yet know about WEKFEST, then you must be living under a rock. Excuse the cliche notion, although, there is simply no other way to put it. San Francisco WEKFEST, now in its fourth year, is inarguably the show that is most looked forward to. In 2011, WEKSOS Industries decided to take the show on tour across the U.S., an impressive feat considering its humble beginnings that started at a parking garage in San Francisco, Japantown. If you’ve never been, SF WEKFEST is known primarily for its show stopping Honda builds. In recent…
