2012 KMS Drift Competition Round 1

Scion brought you the KMS Drift Competition Round 1 held at SGMP on June 16th, This was the first of 9 to be held in the south east we had 35 Drivers for round 1. The Wörthersee Tour in Reifnitz, Austria is the largest gathering of VAG enthusiasts in the world. Here in North America, the team at H2O Tuning hosts Southern Wörthersee, also known as SOWO, in the Bavarian-themed town of Helen, Georgia. In front of a packed house at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey, Matt Waldin defeated Nate Brasz to become the fourth different winner in the 2010 Xtreme Drift Circuit season.Traveling from Westchester, Pennsylvania, the former DMCC champion went home with a check for $3000 as the event winner, while Brasz took $2000. In the consolation round, Justin Tuerck, brother of Formula Drift driver Ryan Tuerck, defeated top qualifer Nate Hamilton to take the third spot on the podium.
