DTP 2011: Vancouver, BC

The Northwest: known to the rest of the country as the place with the rain and coffee. However, ask some car enthusiasts and they might tell you that we’ve had some pretty good car shows in the past up here, often with the quality rivaling that of the other big markets. One show that has always been at the top of the list of yearly shows to attend has been Driven to Perform, the yearly show held in Vancouver B.C. that gives most of us down in the U.S. a reason to battle through the border crossing just to go…

Formula Drift Canada 2014: St-Eustache, QC

On Sunday, June 8, 2014, history was made in Canadian drifting. The first ever official Formula Drift Canada took place at Autodrome St-Eustache, QC, just north of Montreal. Formula Drift Canada is broken down into two rounds – Qualification (June 8, 2014) and Challenge (August 31 – September 1, 2014). At this (Qualification) round, drivers participated and qualified to compete in this year’s Formula Drift Canada – Challenge Round. The Top 8 drivers automatically qualify for the big Labour Day event where some of the big teams from Formula Drift (USA) will travel North to compete with and against Canadian…

Fitted Toronto 2015: Brampton, Ontario

Whether you’re static or on bags, poked or flush, Japanese, Euro or USDM, as long as you’re an enthusiast of the aggressive fitment movement, Fitted Lifestyle is the show for you. Yet again, the event took over the steel buildings of the Brampton Fairgrounds, as well as the vast outdoor parking lot, filling each to the brim. It seems that each year, there are more and more competitors coming out with harder, better, faster and stronger iterations of what they showed the last year. This is true for both inside and outside and what makes Fitted such a unique event.…

Formula Drift Round 4 2013: Wall, NJ

Formula D ripped into the Wall, NJ 1/8 mile oval course for the fourth stop on their 2013 10th anniversary tour. Although the speeds at wall are the slowest of the entire circuit, the transition off of the 30-degree banking makes the track one of the most technical to drive. This year’s configuration was changed up slightly, eliminating the crossover through the middle that was often bumpy. Qualifying yielded several familiar names at the top including a Falken 1-2 sweep with top qualifier Justin Pawlak in his Falken Tire Ford Mustang and Darren McNamara close behind in his Falken Tire…
