Import Alliance Spring Meet 2017 PAS

This is our 9th year in Atlanta and we are expecting a huge turnout. Once again the beautiful Atlanta Motor Speedway will host the event, and this year will be bigger than ever. Last year's Spring Meet was the largest ImportAlliance event ever. We had over 10,000 cars and thousands more people in attendance. This year is our 12th year of operations and of course we have to do our best to make it even better than last year, so we are adding to the programming and expecting record setting cars and people.

We will have the ImportAlliance Drift-O-Rama, the ImportAlliance Showcase, Formula D driver ride alongs, and for the first time ever, the Spring Meet will feature the ImportAlliance Super Showcase and the soon to be most coveted import car scene related recognition hardware, the ImportAlliance Pinnacle Award. Plan on joining us for the largest all import car meet in the United States. We guarantee you don't want to miss it. go to our website for more info. http://importalliance.org/

At this event gas grills may be used and tents can be set up. As usual there is no alcohol allowed at ImportAlliance Events. Pets are also prohibited. Please do not bring any weapons of any kind to the event. Service animals are allowed. Finally, we are always concerned about your safety coming to our events and leaving. Please be careful on your way to ATL and on you way home….it’s no fun hearing the stories of accidents coming to the show and leaving the show. Also, part of keeping pedestrians and attendees as safe as possible means each driver needs to be responsible. That means no burnouts and demonstrations of power. Lets keep the shenanigans to a minimum. Safety is a huge priority for us.

Tokyo Auto Salon: Japan

As I head into my 40’s, I’m reminded that not only does perspective matter but also experience. This will be my 12th year covering the Tokyo Auto Salon (and the third with PASMAG) and I’m happy to say it never gets boring, regardless of age. Sure, I’m a little wearier than I used to be but there’s a clean and pure energy to the biggest automotive show on the planet that hits you like a spirit bomb when you trudge down the cold corridors of the entrance and emerge within the frenzied and buzzing halls beneath. It’s impossible not to…

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 Tire Test

It seems like every year or so another tire manufacturer comes out with a new tire that’s supposed to change everything we know about driving. For the most part, they are right. With all the new technological advancements in the world, making a better handling tire is pretty realistic. Different tread design, softer compound, or stiffer sidewalls are usually among the updates put into a new tire. According to BFGoodrich, every aspect has been improved upon with the g-Force Comp-2. We started off on a very early morning at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California or “Fontucky” for anyone who…
