8/17/14 from 11am to 6pm. Car show registration from 9am to 12pm, judging begins at 11, awards ceremony around 5:30. Race registration starts at 9am, heads up qualifying at 11:00 and 12:00. Eliminations around 1.

Car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing, Usaci double points stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest (time permitting), vendors, pit midway, and live DJ.

All spectator tickets and competitor registration forms can be bought on the day of the show at the front gate. Visit the link below to purchase your tickets in advance. Battle at the Border 2010

The annual event this year proved to be a staple in the automotive event scene to stay around for years to come. It is one of the only shows to see some amazing machines that we would never typically see here in Canada. Import Face-Off 2010: Baton Rouge, LA

Johnny Williams pulled the upset win in the FWD class after number qualifier and 2010 points leader, Aaron Lopez (San Antonio, TX) timed out in the first round of eliminations. Aaron was looking to take the easy win, but he did not realize the timing clock started as soon as his opponent’s second staging bulb flickers. The second bulb never stayed completely lite, only flickered, due to an extremely shallow stage. Before the second bulb, both racers sat on one light playing a “staging duel” for about 15 seconds. Photos by Cliff Wallace In the FWD class, Chris “The Magician” Miller struggled to even qualify as he was forced to back out during the first round due to a leak in the burnout box. For his second, nail-biting attempt, Chris almost hit the wall as his Orange-camo Civic jerked hard left and crossed the center line, which made that pass ineligible as a qualifier.
