DMCC Round 1 2012: Montmagny, QC

The 2012 DMCC season kicked off its first round of the year. The event took place in Montmagny Quebec at the Autodrome Montmagny. Everybody was excited about the first round but right off the bat it didn't look too good as the forecast called for rain and lots of it. Scion FR-S RC Rally Cup

Scion recently teamed up with R/C company HPI to throw the first-ever FR-S Cup. Held at Toyota’s Torrance, California, corporate headquarters, this just-for-fun event featured a variety of FR-S-based R/C races, an FR-S R/C car show, and even appearances from Scion luminaries like Stephen Papadakis and Five Axis’ Troy Sumitomo. Prizes were awarded throughout the day – we didn’t win anything, but given that we didn’t completely embarrass ourselves during our competition heat, we came out feeling like winners anyway.…

Formula Drift Round 2 2012: Braselton, GA

Formula D returned to the birthplace of the series for the second stop in their ninth season with a bit of a twist for the drivers. The paved horseshoe of the turn 10 complex at Road Atlanta was originally built specifically to accommodate the series, and the FD Judges designed to change the course slightly to facilitate a more technical configuration which encouraged closer tandem.
