Formula Drift Round 4 2013: Wall, NJ

Formula D ripped into the Wall, NJ 1/8 mile oval course for the fourth stop on their 2013 10th anniversary tour. Although the speeds at wall are the slowest of the entire circuit, the transition off of the 30-degree banking makes the track one of the most technical to drive. This year’s configuration was changed up slightly, eliminating the crossover through the middle that was often bumpy. Qualifying yielded several familiar names at the top including a Falken 1-2 sweep with top qualifier Justin Pawlak in his Falken Tire Ford Mustang and Darren McNamara close behind in his Falken Tire…

Import Face-Off 2010: Tulsa, OK

Despite the extreme heat, the 4th annual Tulsa Import Face-Off had the largest overall attendance of all previous events. It was so hot one fan fainted and an ambulance had to be called for aid. The FWD final came down to the exact same match up and outcome as the Kansas City IFO two weeks early. John Tran from Raytown, MO in his 95' Civic Hatch with a 10.797 @ 153.88 mph beat Tony Phoutthavong from Winfield, KS also in a Honda Civic, but only ran a 12.310 @ 138.36 mph. Tony however, did collect the $400 bounty on 2010…

CSCS Drift took to the track early with drivers lined up for practice and qualifying. As Mosport features a high banked wall and elevation changes, the environment had competitors setting up their suspension and adjusting techniques to get their slides perfect. Fast entry speeds, tons of tire-spinning smoke,…
