AutoCon 2016: Los Angeles, CA

The Los Angeles Convention Center opened its doors once again to AutoCon 2016, giving thousands of enthusiasts the opportunity to witness the latest in show cars and aftermarket brands. From race-inspired track cars to custom wide-bodied exotics, there's a little something for everyone to see. In addition to the show, a special constructed ‘drive-up’ stage, amply referred to as AutoCon Avenue, allowed higher profile vehicle builds to be driven up in-front of the crowd so that enthusiasts can hear, see and feel the engine start up, as well as learn a bit more about the car itself. The show wrapped-up…

DMCC Round 2 2011: Mirabel, QC

The second round of the DMCC series took place at the Circuit Icar that is just north of Montreal. Icar is a 1st class racing facility that is built on the old Mirabel airport, which gives the venue a unique look and feel. It is the second time that the series has come…

DMCC rolled into Autodrome St-Eustache for the second round of competition this year. For this round, the top 8 seeded pro-am drivers were invited to compete with the pros for the first ever top 32 competition. The event was a long one as everything was packed into one full day; at least the weather was nice in comparison to round one.During the morning, I spotted Pat Cyr and he was not with his new FRS. The FRS was not 100% ready to compete, but it is supposed to be good to go for round three. It was also cool to…

"A Child's Smile" Charity Car Show

It was a long time in the making, and all began with the Scion scene in a car team called Revoluscion. Jeoffrey Maldonado and Eric Lopez met at one of the weekly meets in downtown Los Angeles and this was where it all began. After a few years of attending shows together as a team, both had their own sense of business and went separate ways. Jeff with 742 Marketing and Eric with Geisha Events; while the past year went by many affiliations were made on both sides and the foundations grew to be strong. Eric took control of the…
