Hot Summer Nights 2011

Delayed one week due to Hurricane Irene, September 3rd proved to be the perfect date for eXquisite Car and Truck Club’s show, Hot Summer Nights held at Quaker Steak and Lube in Fredericksburg, VA.  The parking lot was packed full of imports, domestics, mini trucks, lifted trucks, donks, performance, and style.  Nightfall is when everyone really started to shine with their custom lighting. Some of the highlights of the show included a 1000+hp Dodge Magnum whose custom graphics were as fierce as its power; a bagged and wide-bodied Dodge Charger with a suede interior; a bagged Chevy S-10 with a…

Importfest 2011: Toronto, ON

Yes it’s true; Import Fest is back in full glory! As the longest running tuner show in North America, it is no surprise that this year’s event would shatter records both in terms of stats and quality of vehicles showcased. The Toronto Metro Convention Centre once again played host to the first of two city stops (the second being Montreal on October 1st) for what is tagged, as Canada’s Biggest and Baddest Car Show and we couldn’t agree more. A record number of over 15,000 people attended the one-day iFest event with roughly another 35,000 passing through the downtown Toronto…

Some came for the rides, some came for the show cars but I came for Melissa Riso (uh, that sounds wrong). The RPM spokesmodel was at the show signing autographs and taking pictures along with all kinds of her hot friends...check out the snaps! FREE Trial Issue Want…

Redline Track Events Liberty Grand Prix - Willow Springs Raceway

As the Redline Track Events series approaches its halfway point in the 2011 season, the series headed back to Willow Springs Raceway for the 2nd annual Redline Track Events Liberty Grand Prix.  As usual in the desert in July, temperatures were north of 106° and as we all know, heat is the natural enemy of race cars.  Heat related mechanical issues plagued a record number of teams making this event a competition of reliability. The Pro Track Challenge cars are the stars of the weekend, as well as stars of the Circuit Battles TV show.  Overheated cars and overheated tempers…
