CES 2014: Las Vegas, NV

It has been roughly four years since I have attended CES and, due to the Polar Vortex storm that hit the Midwest, I decided to drive out to the show with my father so I wouldn’t risk missing a flight due to the weather. After a four-day trek and some quality time with my Dad I finally got my first glimpse of Las Vegas. As I checked into my room at the Excalibur, the casino seemed empty compared to what I had remembered from previous CES shows. I found out later that over 60,000 attendees had been delayed due to…

Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge

The 2012 Edition of the World Time Attack Challenge 2012 took place on August 10-11 at Sydney Motorsport Park (formerly Eastern Creek Raceway). Teams from England, New Zealand and Japan joined the Australians in their quest for the lowest track time. The event attracted amateur and professional teams competing with popular road cars that are highly modified (some beyond recognition) for this purpose. Dozens of…

Honda Yuasa Racing BTCC Battle Moves to Donington Park

The fight for the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship heads to Donington Park this weekend and Honda Yuasa Racing Team drivers Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden are aiming to be in the thick of the action. Reigning BTCC champion Neal gave the new NGTC Honda Civic a win on its debut at Brands Hatch earlier this month and currently lies second in the drivers’ standings. That means he will have to carry 36kg of success ballast in the first Donington race, but the three-time title winner believes he will still be in the fight. “We’re expecting more of…
