KMS Drift Round 1 2017: Rockingham, NC

After the drivers dialed-in their new mods and goodies from the Santa's visit in December, and the rust and jitters knocked-off on Saturday's practice runs, the 40+ drivers and 250+ attendees were ready for the 2017 KMS Drift season opener at Rockingham International Dragway in North Carolina on Sunday, February 26th. Both classes were packed with competitors, and as the competition worked to the Final 3 the standards were tremendously raised. This is the second year of the JDM Fest show that combines a huge gathering of Japanese vehicles and a 1/8 drag racing event. For this year, the organizers spiced things up by having a freestyle gymkhana competition.
