DMCC Round 2 2012: St-Eustache, QC

The sun was out RD2 of the DMCC series that took place at the Autodrome St-Eustache that is just outside Montreal. After all the rain that we received for round one everybody from the staff to the drivers were very happy that it was going to be a bright sunny event! For this event it was set up a little different then usual. It was a one day event where Pro and Pro Am drivers would practice, qualify and compete all in the one day. It was like a drift marathon where the action never stopped. Practice started off really…

Redline Time Attack: Round 8

Out in the middle of the Nevada desert lies 3.1 miles of winding pavement known as Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. This country club facility is without a doubt one of the nicest stops on the 2010 Redline Time Attack circuit, but it also has a special history as being the site of the first ever Redline Time Attack event back in 2005. Back then, Tarzan Yamada took the event win in the Swift Springs Nissan S15 with a 2:xx.xxx lap. Last year, it was Paul Gerrard in the AMS Performance / NOS Energy Drink Mitsubishi Evo X who emerged victorious with a 2:18.055. The…

This year’s enormous show had some major additions including indoor MMA Fights by Disorderly Conduct. The event titled “Bash On The Beach” packed the arena as SKULL CANDY equipped each fighter with ear buds, headphones and custom apparel while entered the ring. Another huge hit came from Dillon Brothers Motorsports who hosted an Easton Poker Run for Children’s Hospital. The run concluded…

Import Face-Off 2011: Woodburn, OR

Text by Import Face-Off | Photos by Jerron Warren This first time visit to Oregon for Import Face-Off definitely won’t be a last! Even with the cold, gloomy weather, turnout was a success with all race classes full. The second annual Oregon IFO has already been scheduled for the same weekend in 2012. Reid Lunde from Kennewick, Washington won the FWD class with his 8.9 second civic against Jeff Merdic from Federal Way, Washington. Kevin Kempf, also with an 8 second Civic, was looking to meet Reid in the finals, but had to drop out before eliminations due to a…
