Redline Time Attack: Round 8

Out in the middle of the Nevada desert lies 3.1 miles of winding pavement known as Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch. This country club facility is without a doubt one of the nicest stops on the 2010 Redline Time Attack circuit, but it also has a special history as being the site of the first ever Redline Time Attack event back in 2005. Back then, Tarzan Yamada took the event win in the Swift Springs Nissan S15 with a 2:xx.xxx lap. Last year, it was Paul Gerrard in the AMS Performance / NOS Energy Drink Mitsubishi Evo X who emerged victorious with a 2:18.055. The…

Importfest 2011: Toronto, ON

Yes it’s true; Import Fest is back in full glory! As the longest running tuner show in North America, it is no surprise that this year’s event would shatter records both in terms of stats and quality of vehicles showcased. The Toronto Metro Convention Centre once again played host to the first of two city stops (the second being Montreal on October 1st) for what is tagged, as Canada’s Biggest and Baddest Car Show and we couldn’t agree more. A record number of over 15,000 people attended the one-day iFest event with roughly another 35,000 passing through the downtown Toronto…

Formula Drift Round 5 2016: True North - St-Eustache, QC

Formula DRIFT Round 5: True North Results; Fredric Aasbo Takes the Win to Move Within 3 Points of the Championship Lead. Formula DRIFT presented by BlackVue held their first international event as part of the Pro Championship in Canada at Autodrome St-Eustache. Fredric Aasbo in the Rockstar Energy / Nexen Tire Scion tC took the victory and moves within 3 points of the leader in the standings with only three events remaining in the 2016 season. In one of the most action packed and competitive rounds of competition, Round 5: True North brought the top drifting talent in the world…

Formula Drift Round 1 2012: Long Beach, CA

Formula D kicked off their 9th season of drifting on the Streets of Long Beach, the first and still the lone drifting competition to take place on actual city streets. Several drivers were debuting new cars, sponsorships, and liveries, but once the track went hot, all that mattered was how well you drove your car. Crowds at the first event were the largest in history, selling-out before the event was even open on race day. As qualifying got underway, Ryan Tuerck was able to maneuver the Retaks S13 to a high score of 97, with Rhys Millen earning a 96…
