SQOLOGY Winter Warm-Up 2017: Clarksville, TN

In November of 2016, SQOLOGY expanded its vision of car audio meets to reach a broader audience and set out to hold at least a dozen car audio meets in 2017, the first of which was successfully held this past weekend in Clarksville, TN at Audio Specialists. It requires some risk to host an event in February, on Super Bowl Sunday, with commitments required months in advance. Formula DRIFT Round 6: Showdown Results; Rookie Masashi Yokoi is Victorious Formula DRIFT presented by GoPro returned to Texas Motor Speedway for Round 6: Showdown. Japanese rookie Masashi Yokoi in the D-MAX Nissan S15 earns his first Formula DRIFT victory. The championship will be determined at the Series finale on October 10. KMS Drift: GCS Florida

The heat was on as KMS Drift slid back in to Florida with a packed house. Kicking off the event Friday night, the drivers were promised maximum seat time, and that is exactly what they got as they slid until it was too dark to see. As the sun came up Saturday, drivers rolled in to shred some tires and compete between the two tracks. The competition track was set in an “M” style layout with two nice sweepers and elevation change that made for some fun sliding. The second track was a wide open lot for drivers to hone…
