July 2011 Buyer's Guide
It’s that time of year again – summer time – and you know what that means? The annual PASMAG summer Buyer’s Guide. We’ve packed this issue, cover-to-cover, with the best in batteries, navigation, wiring, drivetrains and many others from the best name brands in the industry.
We also managed to supply you with coverage of Formula Drift Round 2 and the Import Face-Off in Las Vegas. We’ve added a bevy of test reports and you may find it difficult to escape the heat with a sizzling feature on model, Sara Brinsfield.

THE EVENTS
The Formula Drift season continues to awe us all and PASMAG is here to bring you the details. Round 2, dubbed ‘Road to the Championship,’ brought fans from all across the South East region of the United States together to watch an exciting round of competition. Road Atlanta hosted the event for the 8th consecutive year of Formula DRIFT.
Import Face-Off continued its run in Las Vegas, rightfully coined, ‘Judgement Day,’ and was the “biggest, most anticipated grudge race in the history of Import drag racing.” The fastest and quickest street Hondas raced each other for $5000, winner take all!
MODEL FEATURE
We are pleased to introduce the gorgeous Sara Brinsfield
If you are looking for a serious, cold-blooded model type, Sara Brinsfield is definitely not for you. The feisty Capricorn is unpredictable and mysterious, but is always having a good time. We could tell by the ‘smiley’ faces and “LOLs” in her responses that she is very rarely serious and loves to laugh.
PUT TO THE TEST
Gary Springgay and the boys at Cogent Audio Labs put some of the best car audio products on the market to the test. This month, we take a look at the American Bass PH-2500, the Helix A4, the JL Audio HO11ORG W3 and the Lightning Audio LA-8004 Amplifier, just to name a few.
