At the core of the story is that Injen wanted to prototype a V6 intake, which of course is #00001 of the production run. The team also added an Injen dual exhaust with striking titanium tips poking out the back. The motor was filled with some Amsoil 0W racing oil to keep the internals ready for some high RPMs afforded by the Poweraxle ECU reflash and the RPM lightweight crank pulley.

Being away from home in the military is probably the toughest job out there if you can call it that. It’s more of a new life away from friends and family in a foreign land where nothing is familiar. The military takes careful measures to ensure th [ … ]

“I chose the 2010 Camaro because I wanted to be a part of history,” says Abate. “The Camaro is one of the most known performance cars of all times. When they stopped making the Camaro in 2002, I felt like someone shot my dog. The domestic performance king was gone. Now that GM has come to their senses and brought back the Camaro, I knew the world would be watching to see how it performs in the market. Myself and SCAP went to great lengths to build our 2010 Camaro and called it ‘heritage’ as a tribute.”

When you think of automotive tuning hubs in North America, some areas immediately come to mind; Los Angeles, Toronto, South Florida, the Tri-State area and a few select markets. We don’t hunt for features in Salt Lake City or Omaha for a reason, although we actually have bagged a couple from those [ … ]

If you have been followingPAS over the last few years, you will know about Team ETC. The Elite Tuners of Canada program builds graced the pages of the PAS SEMA issue for three years in a row. As the team transitions into building domestic V8s, we w [ … ]

ENEOS Oil Scion tC

When you have a craze in the automotive after market like the one we have witnessed with Scion in the last decade, the trend often carries on without an end in sight. Even oil giant ENEOS wanted in on the action, so it took on the task of building this tC in house. The mission was simple but it wo [ … ]

A textbook example of someone living the hybrid life is Coung Phan, who hails from the sleepy town of Hagerstown, MD with a population of roughly 39,000. There is not much of a car scene there, but with mags like PAS at the local book store and the wealth of info on the internet, he started fantasizing at a young age.

Living in a small town drives people to do one of two things; accept it and make a family there or bounce quicktime as soon as they are of legal age. It isn’t uncommon for many, young, country folk to want to get out there and experience the world, perhaps even settle in a major metropolis like New [ … ]

“I previously had an Infiniti G35 project that I completed building a while ago and was beginning to get bored with modifying it,” admits Tran. “I heard about the GT-R being released to the North American market and instantly decided that I needed to have one. The very next day I went into my local Nissan dealership and laid down my deposit. I had to wait about a year before Nissan gave me a call to come and pick up my new GT-R but it was worth every second.”

There is nothing more refreshing than partnering up with people who can get results. In an industry full of dreamers notorious for over-promising and under-delivering, you tend to side with the people who can make good on their promises. When Mike Tran of Toronto, ON contacted us about his R35 GT-R [ … ]

As if the exciting Genesis Coupe hadn’t done enough to improve the Hyundai brand image already, Millen took another Hyundai powerplant and show-horned it into the nimble FR chassis! As you can see, the real bold move (or crazy idea) was to totally skip trying to make engine fit in up front and completely re-engineer the entire car to accommodate the powerful V8.

When a plan comes together, the results speak for themselves. We had all seen the teasers for Rhys Millen’s Genesis Coupe build in the weeks leading up to SEMA, but we were all unaware at how he would cap it all off. The fabrication work was impressive, but if the look and the accents [ … ]

Precious Metal Rodney Manandiks 2002 Subaru WRX 01

Rewind back to 2001 and there wasn’t much to choose from in the turbo AWD market. Well, there was actually nothing for sale in the North American market unless you were going to spring for a 996 twin turbo. The Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX was gone, the 3000GT was gone and Subaru could no longer m [ … ]

Like many who get their hands on some extra money, I tend to start shopping with it even before the check is cashed. We live in a society where the ‘buy now, pay later’ phenomenon means many of us don’t save up as much.
