MTX will return to a retail direct business model at CES next week, after two years of working mainly through a one-price web-only ordering model that was set up as a means to stop transhipping and discounting of the brand.

The company announced Friday, it has also hired manufacturer reps again in several markets, after letting go of reps and distributors in late 2012.  It will not rehire distributors, however, said MTX’s Joe Trentacoste.

Advanced Marketing – California: (949) 251-1851
Circle B Marketing – Texas & Mink States: (214) 221-9100
Integrity Marketing – FL, AL, GA, Carolinas: (386) 804-7778
Cardinal Sales – OH, IN, KY, Western PA: (317) 298-9650

MTX says it has successfully restored integrity pricing and profitability to the brand and will be signing up retailers as direct accounts at CES.

The current web site will continue but MTX has officially returned to a direct retail relationship with traditional terms for dealers.

“Loyd Ivey [CEO of MTX parent Mitek]  took some very bold steps over the last two years that have positioned the brand to offer competitive advantages over other manufacturers in the marketplace,” said National Mobile Audio Sales Manager, Dan McLeod. “I believe in our story and our products and am very excited to be able to offer 12-volt retailers a brand that does what it says and stands behind their dealers.”

MTX will exhibit at CES Jan 6-9 in North Hall booth #2302 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
