Woodburn, Oregon IMPORT FACE-OFF on September 25th, 2011: A very special thank you to the avid Import fans who risked the weather cancelation to support this second 2011 Oregon Import Face-Off event.  Off and on soaking rain caused for a washout with the drag racing portion of this event.  Even though all other activities took place, spectators can use their IFO arm band for full credit into any future event.  Best of show for a second time this year went to Jamarri Whiteside (Mitsubishi Evo) who beat out Washington Import Face-Off B.O.S. winner, Travis McPeat (Honda Accord).  Jamarri is now in the lead for the West coast regional Import Face-Off Best of Show points championship.

SEMA 2010: Las Vegas, NV

Once again, PASMAG hit the concrete to bring you the very best of the performance aftermarket at a little show out in the desert we call SEMA. At peak hours it was difficult to move through the packed aisles and some of the hottest SEMA cars were mobbed with on-lookers. We wanted to round up the top 5 builds that really made a statement at the show and…

JB weld and clamps made for a quick, temporary fix, but all for nothing as Max ended up red lighting in the first round of eliminations. With Max out of the picture, number 2 qualifier, Chan Thammavongs (teal Civic) running half a second faster than the rest of…

Spring Break Nationals: More than Entertainment

The 26th annual Spring Break Nationals presented by Scosche Industries is now in the books. Another successful event was achieved by combining industry, trade and consumer participants. Some 250 car audio dealers were in attendance to take advantage of show specials offered by Florida’s leading distributors, NuSource, Lesco and Audio America. An additional benefit for Dealers was the ability to see manufacturers products on display in the Exhibit Hall. “I’m pleased with the trade attendance” says SBN Founder and Producer Paul Papadeas, “as a car audio dealer for 38 years, we’ve structured SBN to be more than consumer entertainment, we’re…
