It seemed like the entire tech world descended on Las Vegas, Nevada in mid-January for the annual Consumer Electronic Show (CES). More than 150,000 audiophiles, gaming addicts and gadget junkies, along with 3,100-plus exhibitors occupied 1.8 million square feet of real state, including various facilities and hotel suites. Drift 4 Cash 2011: Pre Event to the DMCC Season

It was a drift event of unusual circumstance – pro and pro-am drivers mixed together. After qualification it was time for what everyone had shown up for: the top 8 battles. This event was dramatically different; each tandem battle winner would receive cash-in-hand, right on the track – this isn’t the world of giant checks and credit. These are cold-hard, mint oriented Canadian dollars. Rookie professional, Jeff Laflamme, in his V8, S13, qualified at the top of the heap and snagged the most of the loot.
