Vaughn Gittin Jr. Reveals 2013 Monster Energy Mustang RTR

The 2013 Formula Drift season is set to kick off April 12-13 on the Streets of Long Beach and Team Nitto Tire is locked and loaded in their quest to win the series championship. Headlining the charge will be Nitto’s largest offseason acquisition to date, former series champion Vaughn Gittin Jr. Piloting the Monster Energy / Nitto Tire Ford Racing RTR Mustang, Gittin is known for his aggressive, foot to the floor, big smoke driving style and will be gunning for his second career FD championship. Vaughn will also head to China to compete in the World Drift Series, as well as participate in select competition and demonstration events in Europe. Entering his third season for Nitto Tire is Matt Powers, driver of the Nitto Tire Nissan S14. During the offseason, Powers traveled abroad and took home the prestigious 2012 Red Bull Drifters championship. Not to be forgotten is Chelsea DeNofa, driver of the BC Racing / Nitto Tire Mazda RX8 R3, who will be entering his first full season with Nitto Tire after making the switch midway through the 2012 season. DMCC Round 5 2012: Montmagny, QC

Round 5 of the DMCC series took place in Montmagny, Quebec. The event was originally supposed to be held on the 11th but due to severe thunder storms in the forecast for the first time in DMCC history the event was postponed to the week after. Changing the date of the event was a good move since it was a super nice day but did have its downfall as a few of the regular drivers were not able to make it due to schedule conflicts. DMCC Round 6 2011: St-Eustache, QC

The second to last round of the DMCC season was a big one. It was a special event where drivers from the XDC series came up to Canada to compete in a Canada VS USA battle. There are already a few XDC drivers that compete in the DMCC series but this event was done in partnership with XDC.
