As if the exciting Genesis Coupe hadn’t done enough to improve the Hyundai brand image already, Millen took another Hyundai powerplant and show-horned it into the nimble FR chassis! As you can see, the real bold move (or crazy idea) was to totally skip trying to make engine fit in up front and completely re-engineer the entire car to accommodate the powerful V8.

When a plan comes together, the results speak for themselves. We had all seen the teasers for Rhys Millen’s Genesis Coupe build in the weeks leading up to SEMA, but we were all unaware at how he would cap it all off. The fabrication wor [ … ]

“I’ve blown four motors and four transmissions during the build process,” admits owner Rodney Manandik of Las Vegas, Nevada. “The first three motors were blown at the track and the forth on the dyno.

Rewind back to 2001 and there wasn’t much to choose from in the turbo AWD market. Well, there was actually nothing for sale in the North American market unless you were going to spring for a 996 twin turbo. The Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX was gone, the 30 [ … ]

The reaction towards Nissan’s GT-R super car is still nothing short of impressive. In stock form, the powerful GT-R is already explosive, but in tuned form it’s proven itself unstoppa [ … ]

The whole ensemble was tuned by a Technosquare remapped ECU, which translated into over double the factory horsepower. Of course only a man’s clutch would handle that and the task was given to an Exedy triple carbon clutch. A Cusco 1.5-way rear LSD was also added in addition to a 3.91 final drive from a 350Z.

Some say it looks like a shoe, some say it looks like a bathtub. I doubt Infiniti designers were discussing the profile of a Ronald McDonald shoe or the merits of taking a bubble bath while this car was being conceived. I’ve always thought the FX s [ … ]

As part of our rolling Scion showcase, our project received a number of upgrades and tweaks. Whether it’s the design of the project, the prototype wheels or the new audio system, the Project Scion is barely recognizable from last year. The mission fo [ … ]

The gargantuan 9-seater truck is almost 10,000 lbs. and can carry the contents of a 1-bedroom apartment with ease. Don Brooks of Big Tyme Industries decided this Excursion would tower above all others on a grand scale.

The life span of everything must come to an end be it a car, truck or even a building. Yet here and there, the monumental work of others quite often isn’t destroyed but rather celebrated and the Ford Excursion is definitely one of those creations. Bi [ … ]
