one Star Throwdown 2026

one Star Throwdown 2026
Lone Star Throwdown 2026 was an event not to miss. Coming off of a very
cold and rainy 2025 event, and 2026 starting off cold and snowy for most
of the US, the anticipation for an event with warmer and dryer weather
was high. luckily for 2026 the weather was warm, sunny and that drew in
spectators all weekend long! with gates and ticket booths opening at 8am
each day, there were lines starting to form on Saturday at 7:30. by mid
day each day, the event venue was packed full of everyone capturing photos
and videos of vehicles out cruising. as per usual, you had the event arena
occupied by American Force Wheels and their hand picked vehicles on display,
in the pavilions, you had the usual c10 truck club in one half, relaxed
atmosphere club vehicles on the other half. In another area of it, you
had Plan B fab and Nitto Tire on display. walk a bit passed the judging
lanes and you had another area of indoor vehicles with builders showing
off their rides; with quite a few of them with full displays (lighting,
stanchions, custom flooring, ect..). once you made your way outside,
vehicles were spread all through out every part of the Lone Star Expo
Center & Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Many perceive this event to be
a trucks only event, but this year showed that it is for anything and
everything. you had the obvious lifted and lowered trucks/SUV's, restored
classic cars, custom imports, SXS's, off-road vehicles, and even a
unique tractor with the cab of a 1st generation ford econoline built onto
it. for builders that have projects at home, you had plenty of vendors on
site to talk to for wheels, tires, suspension, billet parts, even shops
to talk to about current or future projects. for the spectators you had
plenty of apparel companies on site slinging shirts, stickers, hats,
swag of various other sorts.
Z63_3510.jpg after a rough, cold 2025 even, it's safe to say that 2026 was a very
successful event for the show crew/promoters, the participants, the
vendors and the spectators. make sure to check out the event in 2027! (feb 26-28, 2027 )
