Wilwood Releases Aero6-DM Front Brake Kits for 2007-2015 Toyota Tundra

Wilwood Disc Brakes has released new Aero6-DM “Direct-Mount” front brake kits for 2007-2015 Toyota Tundra 2WD and 4WD trucks. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade, the kits improve braking performance while simplifying installation and reducing overall upgrade cost compared to traditional big brake conversions.

The Aero6-DM kits are engineered to work with most 17-inch and larger wheels while remaining fully compatible with factory master cylinders, ABS, and electronic controls. Wilwood says the upgraded system improves pedal feel, thermal stability, and repeatability in demanding driving conditions including towing, hauling, off-road use, and commercial workloads.

Each kit features forged aluminum six-piston Aerolite calipers engineered to mount directly to factory spindles and hubs without additional brackets. The staggered-bore piston design and closed bridge construction help provide more even clamping force while minimizing caliper deflection.

The kits include 13.39 x 1.26-inch premium iron alloy rotors available in either GTB slotted or SRP drilled-and-slotted configurations. Both rotor designs feature 66 internal vanes to improve thermal management and heat dissipation during heavy braking.

Wilwood also includes its BP-22 ceramic-based brake pads, developed for everyday street driving, towing, and performance-oriented applications. Stainless steel Flexlines and premium-grade installation hardware are included with each kit.

Calipers are available in gloss black or gloss red powder coat finishes, with additional custom color options offered at extra cost.

MSRP starts at $1,966.26.
