From the moment it was first announced, the race was on to see who could throw every modification they could find to build a Toyota GR Corolla that could take home the hardware in a show. Nicholas Buettner was chomping at the bit to build one, and once he took possession of his 2023 Toyota GR Corolla, he was looking for parts and working on it in the garage. He was determined to be the owner of one of the most modified GR Corollas in the United States.

His GR is bolstered with an eclectic mix of performance, style, and creature comfort modifications to turn it into a true 1-of-1, tailored to Buettner’s personal style. Styling is kept relatively simple inside and out, but simplicity allows each modification choice shine. This build is so well crafted that it earned Buettner an Editor’s Choice Award at Tuning365 Seattle in 2024.
