McLeod Racing expands their aluminum bellhousing products to include the Ford 5.0L Coyote Drag Racing applications. The bellhousing is SFI approved and is equipped an inner TMS Titanium liner.
This bellhousing comes equipped with an inspection window, which is removable with six grade 8 bolts. This eliminates the need to remove the bellhousing to adjust the clutch. Using the spun aluminum process, McLeod is able to produce and extremely accurate bellhousing that is lightweight and compact in size. The backplate is then made from CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum. “The added part number to our bellhousing selection makes the product line more accessible for more people,” says Bob Scheid, Dir. Of Business Development. “We want to provide great products for all cars and applications.”
The bellhousing only weighs 14 lbs. to ensure that no extra weight is added to the car. For added protection, McLeod added a TMS Titanium inner liner. The unit is built with a narrow body that can hold both small and large ring gears, but leaves plenty of tunnel room for tight builds.
