What a gift it was for Anna Truchel, when she received a 2016 Subaru BRZ from her brother for her 21st birthday! Truchel’s brother knew that she was a huge fan of the looks of the 86 triplets and that she was especially a fan of the GT86 that Ryan Tuerck had built. Receiving her own BRZ allowed Truchel to start dreaming of and in due time start building her dream car. Truchel knew from the beginning what she wanted, and the factory paint and body were not it. Shortly after having a custom titanium axle-back exhaust made by her father’s shop Seban Corp, Truchel placed an order for a Rocket Bunny V2 wide body kit. Once the kit arrived she had it custom-molded to the BRZ’s stock body and then had it painted in a completely unique color by MPH Motorsports. Before she knew it, with the addition of the Seibon carbon fiber hood, Valenti tail lights and LED fog lights her dream car was becoming a reality.
Truchel is currently in love with her car’s custom look, with the Rocket Bunny V2 kit providing a unique and aggressive look to her BRZ, but she has further plans for the car in the future. The car, in its present state, is being built as a show car, which was her initial vision but Truchel has plans to next build the motor (add a turbo), add some three-piece wheels and a chassis-mounted wing with hopes of eventually getting the car into time attack or possibly into drifting. Truchel’s advice to other car enthusiasts is to always reach for your goals and stay determined to build your dream car.
