Brittany Alexnader has been into Subarus as long as she’s been into cars.
Having always owned a Subaru in one form or another, the 2002 Subaru WRX stood out to her as a great platform to begin a serious build with. Since both her and her fiancé had experience modifying Subarus, she also saw the car as something they could both do together.
Going into the build with intentions to build a show car that stood out in a memorable way, Alexander made sure to put in the work when researching quality components. Because of her aspirations for the build, the price tag wouldn’t come cheap, and she ended up working three jobs to fund the build while still paying bills.
Over the course of the build, Alexander and her fiancé spent countless hours in the garage, where most of the modifications were done. “I had a vision, a dream, a goal, and we made it happen. It is something that my fiancé and I could do together to build memories,” she tells us. “It was a team effort, and it would be possible with my fiancé and a few friends that helped when needed.”
After lots of work, dedication, and long nights, the WRX had reached the point we see here, exceeding Alexendar's expectations. “I never thought I would ever bring it this far, and to this level,” she says. These days you can find her Subaru WRX cruising the streets of Hartford, CT, and at the car meets that she hosts.
