Grassroots Performance was founded by Paul Nigro. Paul started riding dirt bikes and go-karts at the young age of 7. He advanced swiftly, starting competitive 4 wheel racing at the age of 13, and 2 wheel racing at the age of 16. He is presently a driver in a number of sports. from competition to demonstrations to even driving stunts for movies. Paul has an unmatched passion for driving and seizes any chance to operate a vehicle or be in a confined space. When constructing a race car, he has always been realistic and aware that staying within budget is typically the biggest obstacle. This prompts him to start looking for reasonably priced performance components that can be built to any size.
The foundation of Grassroots is a contemporary race car enthusiast - from little repairs in the backyard to extensive rotisserie restorations. With a combined history of more than 30 years in racing across many motorsports disciplines, Grassroots Performance has succeeded, failed, and frequently shocked themselves with the outcomes of tried-and-true products vs their own.
