Wilson Paulino’s 2013 Volkswagen GLI blends a clean Euro-inspired exterior with an extensive list of upgrades underneath, bringing together more power, an aired-out stance, three-piece wheels, and a carefully detailed interior.
Paulino’s GLI earned Best Euro at Tuning 365 Englishtown, with the TeckWrap Olive Green vinyl wrap immediately setting the car apart. An ECS Tuning carbon fiber hood, front lip, and rear diffuser are joined by carbon fiber mirror covers, grille duct, and rear spoiler, while Eurolab clear taillights, Street Aero side skirts, and a custom front splitter further reshape the Volkswagen’s exterior.
Under the hood, a K04 turbo helps the GLI produce 330 whp, supported by Integrated Engineering K04 and DSG tuning, an aluminum intake manifold, AEM water/meth system, ECS Tuning cold air intake, aluminum intercooler, and a long list of supporting upgrades. A three-inch downpipe and ECS Tuning three-inch cat-back exhaust complete the exhaust system.
Raceland air suspension paired with Air Lift 3P management brings the GLI down over staggered Rotiform IND-T three-piece wheels measuring 18x9.5 up front and 18x10 in the rear. The braking setup combines a Porsche Macan front big brake kit with an MK6 GTI rear brake upgrade, stainless steel brake lines, and EBC yellow brake pads.
Inside, Paulino continued the green theme with an Alcantara shift boot and door cards, joined by a BFI limited-edition 24k gold shift knob. Braum Racing front seats, a carbon fiber steering wheel, carbon fiber trim, an AEM X-Series boost gauge, and a custom trunk setup featuring a Camberwell Air Lift chrome plate complete the cabin.
