An evolution of the popular R2-Series subwoofers released in 2010, the new R3-Series possesses design features and performance specs typically found in “higher-end” models, but at a price point that makes them accessible to novices and pros alike. Designed and manufactured with reliability and everyday sound quality in mind, these subwoofers are ideally suited for any vehicle, any installation and any budget.
Debuted at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show 2010 in a custom built 2010 Honda CR-Z, the Phoenix Gold R3-Series consists of four models: the R310D2 and R312D2 (dual 2? versions), and the R310D4 and R312D4 (dual 4? versions). All four of these new subwoofers include such features as high-temp OFC voice coils, polypropylene cones, vented titanium-aluminum hybrid formers, one-piece aluminum plated dust caps and nickel-plated 12-gauge speaker terminals. All four R3-Series subwoofers are optimized for sealed or vented enclosures and sport a sleek, modern style with their elegant powder coated gunmetal finish.
