SEMA 2012: Scion Media Preview

2012 SEMA Scion Media Preview

Each year, Scion holds a special media preview a week before SEMA to showcase some of the builds that will be at the SEMA show. With the launch of the Scion FR-S this year, there's already much pre-show hype about the car, and Scion plans to add to that. Three select tuners each were given an FR-S and $15k to build it for the annual Tuner Showdown. This year's competitors were Daniel Song from Los Angeles, John Toca from Chicago, and Chris Basselgia from Pennsylvania. In addition, a handful of top Scion partners were given cars to build that will also be showcased in the SEMA booth. Top tuning shop Evasive Motorsports, crazy showcase car experts Cartel Customs, the lifestyle brand Fatlace, and top cleaning product manufacturer Meguiars all also showcased their builds at the Smog Shoppe gallery in Los Angeles. Special thanks to Scion for including us in the preview, and we look forward to checking out all the cars at SEMA!
