JUDGEMENT DAY: The biggest, most anticipated grudge race in the history of Import drag racing took place this day when the fastest and quickest street Hondas raced each other for $5000, winner take all!  Tony “T1" Palo (Rowlett, Texas) with his red Acura Integra (8.57 @ 183 mph best) raced Chris “The Magician” Miller (Babylon, New York) with his camo-white Honda Civic (8.37 @ 180 mph best).  This was a one-on-one showdown with no track condition differences, and no excuses.  During both qualifying rounds for elimination round lane choice, T1 beat out The Magician running an 8.7 second pass best, to Miller’s 8.9 best.  On the second qualifier, Chris blew the welds off his intake manifold.  Instead of calling it a day, The Magician drove his 1100+ whp Civic 5 miles down Las Vegas Blvd to a local performance shop, welded the intake, and then drove it back before eliminations began!  Before returning to the track, he even stopped at a 7/11 for a Slurpee (see vids on Youtube)!  All the while, Tony’s motor was deemed too hurt after qualifying (oil pressure issues) to finish the elimination rounds.  Chris took the win and $5000 after running solo confirmation passes during eliminations.

IMPORT DRAG RACING HISTORY: This event marked the largest turnout for a FWD heads up class at any Import drag race ever!  52 cars tried to qualify for an 8 car field.  IFO officials wound up making two 16 car fields and increased payouts for the original FWD class.  Chan Thammavong of Kansas City, KS (teal Honda Civic) took the win running a 9.291 @ 159.93 mph vs Anthony Di Nallo of Hollywood, CA who ran a 9.347 @ 162.22 mph.

In the Forced Induction Pro class, Dana Westover from Las Vegas, NV (Toyota Supra) took the win running an 8.903 @ 146.80 mph in the finals against Darren Thomas with his 9 second DSM from Choctaw, OK.

Joel Sipes from Fircrest, WA with his Honda civic won the All Motor Pro class running a 10.566 pass @ 131.46 mph against Gerardo Guzman from Los Angeles, CA who ran 10.791 seconds @ 122.01 mph in his Honda Civic.

Best Club Representation was won by Team Hybrid while Best of Show went to Randy Riggs and his orange G35.
