Wekfest San Francisco 2012

If you are into cars and you don’t yet know about WEKFEST, then you must be living under a rock. Excuse the cliche notion, although, there is simply no other way to put it. San Francisco WEKFEST, now in its fourth year, is inarguably the show that is most looked forward to. In 2011, WEKSOS Industries decided to take the show on tour across the U.S., an impressive feat considering its humble beginnings that started at a parking garage in San Francisco, Japantown. If you’ve never been, SF WEKFEST is known primarily for its show stopping Honda builds. In recent years it has turned from that, into a massive gathering for enthusiasts with different interests and from all over. People came from as far as New York, Chicago, Texas, and all around the country for what could be seen as the Super Bowl of car shows. The show itself was nothing short of amazing, featuring all types of makes, models, and styles which included but not limited to: Japanese, Euro, Domestic, Track Cars, Show Cars, and VIP builds. It is hard to explain in words just how many people were there. The popularity of WEKFEST is not what is important though, it is the fact that they are bringing something back that has been missing for a long time...the integrity of the scene, the cars, and the community back together.
