Tickets Go On Sale For 2019 Formula DRIFT Final Round At Irwindale Speedway

Tickets Go On Sale For 2019 Formula DRIFT Final Round At Irwindale Speedway

Formula DRIFT is pleased to announce tickets are going on sale for its season finale - Round 8: AutoZone Title Fight presented by Rain-X, which takes place on October 18-19, 2019. As ever, it will be held at the world-famous House of Drift at Irwindale Speedway in Irwindale, CA.

Tickets sales begin on June 26 from 9AM PST / 12PM EST at formulad.com/schedule. Prices start at $30 and include Main Grandstand and Trackside Reserved tickets, as well as a VIP Experience, but hurry to avoid disappointment because the Title Fight always sells out.

The reason for its popularity is because the Final Round is guaranteed to be a barnstormer as the world’s best drifters come together to decide the final positions for the year. Currently, the series is incredibly tight, with the top eight drivers separated by less than 100 points – the score given to each round winner. It’s anybody’s championship to win and the competition is more intense than ever as insane horsepower and ridiculous skill meet head-to-head.

The entire Formula DRIFT organization is delighted to return to Irwindale Speedway, the epicenter of global drifting. It is loved by fans and drivers alike because the arena created by the half-mile banked oval and stadium seating creates a wonderful atmosphere. As always, The Final takes place on Saturday night under the Irwindale spotlights. Tickets are also available for Thursday and Friday practice. Additionally, fans can enjoy the packed festival area and open paddock to meet their favorite drivers in person.

Jim Liaw, President of Formula DRIFT, always looks forward to the Irwindale finale: “We are super-excited to conclude the 2019 season at the House of Drift again. Our season finale is always a nail-biter ever since the first championship was decided there in 2005. Purchase your tickets in advance because you’re going to want a good seat and the venue will be filled to capacity.”
