What comes to mind when you think of the VR38DETT engine?
It's gotta be a GT-R, right? Well, not this time! So, this set of photos came from Atomic Shop Ukraine. It's dubbed the "Flanker F". I don't know what that means. There's not a lot of information of this online yet. So, we're waiting to see the final results.
It's a Corvette with some serious body work. It barely looks like a Corvette at this point but they have done the most blasphemous swap for a lot of guys. They've gone from the super sweet LS to a super sweet VR38DETT. It looks like it's been bolstered pretty heavily. And it might be a drift car. So we'll have to come back and see what's going on here. All in all, the workmanship looks really good.
As you can see, the engine is mounted right up against the firewall. So the weight distribution has been taken into account. And this is all we've been able to see from it so far. It's actually came on to my feed thanks to Garrett Advancing Motion and just looking at what they were posting. So these guys are working with Garrett to build some sort of monster here.
