Describe in a sentence who you are.
Hi I'm Carlos Benitez and I started doing photography in 2008 when I bought my first DSLR which is a Canon Rebel XTi.
Where were you born, and do you still live there now?
I was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Los Angeles, California more than a decade ago.

Did you go to school for photography or was it something you picked up yourself?
I learned to develop my skills by reading a lot of books and tutorials from YouTube.
How did you get into it?
When I was in high school, I always admired the photographs that I saw on car magazines, which serves as my inspiration.

What’s your style?
I like my photos to have more contrast and to be a little dramatic.
How long have you been a photographer for?
Since 2009.

What kind of equipment do you use?
I only use Canon equipment and Lightroom for post processing. I try to keep my post proccesing as simple as possible.
Do you have any favourite locations for shooting?
I like to shoot more urban settings, especially at night.

What has been your most memorable assignment or vehicle/model to work with?
My first time I attended the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach as part of the media.
What would you say to other enthusiast photographers out there who aspire to become a great writer/photographer/videographer?
