Toyo Tires® Introduces the Proxes® Sport A/S UHP Tire with Exceptional Wet/Dry Braking Performance

CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA (April 14, 2020) - Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. (Toyo Tires®) announces the all-new Toyo® Proxes®Sport A/S designed for spirited drivers of sport and passenger cars. This premium, ultra-high performance all-season tire delivers excellent braking and handling in both wet and dry conditions. It comes with a competitive mileage warranty of 50,000 miles for V-/W-rated sizes and 40,000 miles for Y-/(Y)-rated sizes.

Improved wet and dry performance is attributed to a newly developed specialized silica tread compound.  Its dynamic taper and improved rib design creates more even contact pressure during braking and added stability while cornering. Multi-wave sipes minimize irregular wear and improve wet and dry performance, while alignment wear indicators promote even wear. A rim protector helps protect valuable wheels.

The Proxes Sport A/S powerline of 89 sizes provides almost 90% market coverage. Dealers can simplify their shelf space with one exceptional product available in 16” to 22” rim diameters. There are 61 sizes currently available and an additional 28 sizes are coming soon. The Proxes® 4 Plus, Proxes® 4, and Proxes® T1R are discontinued with debut of the Proxes Sport A/S.
