HKS Introduces Proprietary GTII Turbo Line

LOS ANGELES (September 30, 2010) – HKS USA, Inc., the premier manufacturer and supplier of premium automotive performance systems, today announced the launch of the HKS GTII Series Turbine line of proprietary design  turbochargers. The first of this line is available now at Authorized HKS Dealers.

 

The HKS turbochargers are being designed and developed entirely by HKS utilizing its more than 37 Years of experience in turbocharger development and specific vehicle application kits. HKS designs and engineers all component parts of the GTII Series, including the ball bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) and compressor and turbine housings which are cast at HKS facilities. With complete control of manufacturing, HKS is able to utilizing the best processes and materials to deliver a premium quality ball-bearing turbocharger.

The HKS goals of no compromise design and exceptional value are substantiated with the GTII 7460R, the first of the new HKS turbocharger line featuring a reverse rotation turbine design that provides the benefit of a bolt-on application, stock replacement upgrade turbocharger for the Mitsubishi Evolution IV-IX.

 

The new HKS GTII series turbochargers continue HKS’ dominance in engineering and manufacturing of no-compromise high performance automotive systems and components.

 

Initial vehicle specific applications currently available through Authorized HKS Dealers are the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IV-IX GTII 7460R (Reverse Rotation) and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GTII 7460.  Coming soon is a bolt-on GTII turbine kit for the Nissan R35 GTR.
