Toyo Tires® Introduces the All-New Open Country A/T III with Improved Wet & Dry On/Off-Road Performance

CYPRESS, CALIFORNIA -- Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. (Toyo Tires®) announces the Open Country A/T III, an exceptional all-terrain tire available in 127 SKUs for truck, SUV, and CUV owners. The all-new Toyo® Open Country® A/T III delivers gripping off-road traction plus responsive and predictable on-road handling. With a focus on true all-season performance, the Open Country A/T III carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, signifying its ready for use in severe winter weather.

This next-generation tire follows the highly successful Open Country A/T II. Advances in tread design, construction, and all-new compounding result in significant performance improvements in wet and dry conditions while maintaining long tread life expected from Toyo-branded tires. These features, combined with a quiet ride and exceptional stability, instill driving confidence in varying terrain and weather.

“The new Toyo Open Country A/T III is built to be tough,” said Conrad Galamgam, senior director of product planning and technical services at Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. “Its durable construction is designed to get drivers to their destination, whether that’s a quiet weekend in the wilderness or their drive to work in tough winter weather, and back home again.”

“For our dealers,” continued Galamgam, “this is a go-to powerline of 127 SKUs they can count on to fit a wide range of vehicles while exceeding customer expectations for true all-terrain capability.”

The tire is being made in 127 unique size, load, and sidewall combinations for wheel diameters ranging from 15- to 22-inches. More than 70 SKUs are available now, 38 more will be released April 1, and the remaining SKUs will roll out by summer. The line-up will include 28 new sizes for specialty and popular fitments such as OE Raptor & Rubicon sizes in Load Range C, and other lower Load/Ply options for Jeep, Toyota, 1500 series, soft-roaders, and other lightweight vehicle applications.

Finally, the Open Country A/T III comes with a competitive 65,000-mile warranty for P/Euro-Metric sizes, and a 50,000-mile warranty for LT and flotation sizes. The Open Country A/T III is also backed by a 500-mile trial offer.
