Founded in 2001 by James Sofronas and Fabryce Kutyba, GMG has quickly established itself as North America's premier performance tuning facility. What began as a small 1200 sq. ft. shop, maintaining two race cars, has grown into a 15,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art performance tuning, racing and service facility located in (Orange County) Santa Ana, California, located directly across from Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA). This close proximity offers GMG a clear advantage when upgrading performance and developing racing products.
Sofronas and Kutyba have been actively racing professionally for over 10 years, especially in World Challenge. The have raced in the most competitive series in North America in both Porsches, Audis and BMWs.

2010: Sits second in the GT Drivers’ Championship and won the Round 9 race at Mid Ohio Sports Car Course. Sofronas has finished second in four races this season.
2009: Sofronas had his most successful season in World Challenge, finishing 2nd in the GT Drivers’ Championship and earning his second and third career wins (Long Beach and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca). Was also on the podium at Watkins Glen and Mid-Ohio and was the fastest qualifier at Autobahn and Road America.
