LEGO and Formula 1 are joining forces to bring fans of all ages a unique way to experience the thrill of the grid - brick by brick. In early 2025, LEGO will launch a range of F1-inspired sets spanning their Speed Champions, City, DUPLO, and Collectibles lines. This collaboration celebrates Formula 1's 75th anniversary, spotlighting all 10 teams in a partnership set to run for years to come.
For enthusiasts of detailed builds, LEGO Speed Champions offers an up-close and intricate look at the precision and design behind modern F1 cars. Each set represents a different team, providing a rewarding experience for builders who admire F1's engineering excellence.
Meanwhile, LEGO City takes fans behind the scenes with pit stops, garages, and transport vehicles, recreating the buzz of race weekends in a smaller size. Set the scene wherever you like!
Even the youngest builders can get in on the action. The LEGO DUPLO F1 Team Race Cars & Drivers set introduces little hands to creative play, with colorful and customizable designs perfect for budding fans.
Collectors won’t be left out either - LEGO Collectibles will feature mini versions of every team’s car, ideal for those looking to display their fandom in a small but impactful way.
Julia Goldin, LEGO’s Chief Product and Marketing Officer, describes the collaboration as more than just a celebration of speed: "We are thrilled to partner with Formula 1, an iconic brand that shares our commitment to innovation, creativity, and inspiring future generations. Together, we’re creating products that ignite curiosity and foster a love of engineering and speed in builders of all ages. This collection uniquely combines the excitement of Formula 1 with the endless possibilities of LEGO play, capturing all 10 teams on the F1 grid for the first time. Our goal is to bring families together to build, explore, and share their passion for the sport, offering something truly special for everyone."
The rollout begins January 1, 2025, with DUPLO and City sets leading the charge. Speed Champions arrives March 1, while Collectibles round things off on May 1. Sets will be available at LEGO.com/F1, LEGO stores, Walmart, and Amazon.
